Leonida needs more than a bigger Vice City
Six named destinations raise a better question than map size: will leaving the city change the way we play?
A large map can make a journey longer without making it more interesting. What we want from Leonida is a reason to feel that leaving Vice City changes something besides the scenery.

What the sources establish
- Rockstar names Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga in its destinations material. [1]
The argument below is Lurk6’s editorial reading. Reported information and direct observations are identified separately.
Distance should change a decision
The useful test for a region is what you reconsider when you enter it. A journey might change how you travel, where you expect to meet people or what counts as an easy escape. Those are possibilities to evaluate, not features confirmed by the destination names.
A distinctive skyline helps you recognise a place. A distinctive set of decisions helps you remember being there. The second is what can make a world feel larger than its measurements.
The road between places is part of the place
A destination menu draws our eyes toward endpoints. In play, the approach matters too: how long you spend travelling, what you pass and whether there is an appealing reason to stop. An enjoyable route makes distance feel like time spent somewhere rather than time paid to reach content.
Our ideal Leonida would sometimes let a drive remain a drive. Not every journey needs a dramatic event. Gradual changes in atmosphere can make an arrival feel earned without turning the road into another checklist.
Why we are not ranking regions before release
A dramatic name or attractive image is not enough to tell us where we will spend the most time. A modest location might become memorable because of the people or activities it supports. A spectacular view might be somewhere we visit once.
That is why the six destinations are a starting point for expectations, not a league table. If each gives us a different reason to return, the map can earn its scale. If they offer the same decisions in six palettes, the extra distance will be harder to justify.
A region earns its place on the map when visiting it changes more than the background.
